Raised with a holistic sensibility, yoga seemed the correct step to help overcome an injury sustained in the mid 1980’s.
Living in Chicago, Roger studied art and showed in local galleries.  He focused on combining his visual imagery to convey his interests in metaphysics and meditation.  He began the study and practice of alignment yoga in mid 1985 with Gabriel Halpern in the Iyengar style. The combination of the external physical aspect complimented by the internal inward journey was a wondrous frontier. The practice sparked a passion for greater understanding of body alignment and awareness  This longstanding desire to experience deeper integration of body, mind and spirit inspires his practice and teaching. Moving to Miami in 1990 he continued his practice and studied with Bobbi Golden and more recently Manuso Manos, Carrie Owerko, Patricia Walden.
